Hi! I’m Amy.
I’m a musician, historian, writer, Educator, coach, and editor with an interdisciplinary bent, a love of language and culture, and a passion for empowering people in their creative expression and professional communication.
My personal and professional background, range of interests, and vibrant personality help define my lifework as a coach, consultant, and editor.
I have a PhD in musicology and over twenty years of experience in research, writing, academia, teaching, performance, coaching, editing, entrepreneurship, and leadership. I’ve worked in multidisciplinary and multinational contexts, studied languages, and traveled widely. I’m an avid reader and a consummate listener, and I thrive on ideas, engaging prose, authentic expression, and attention to detail. My clientele represents a diversity of nationalities, ethnicities, cultures, interests, experiences, and goals.
All of this means that there is no limit to the genres, styles, disciplines, and perspectives in my work with clients. It also means I bring the research expertise, scholarly credentials, historical knowledge, aesthetic sensibilities, and technical vocabulary that allow me to work with clients not only on style, structure, and grammar in their writing but also on deep and nuanced levels of critical interpretation, description, and presentation.
Your ideas and passions are meant to be shared. Your voice is meant to be heard. I can help you make that happen.
